STEPHEN J. BOYARD JR

Stephen J. Boyard, Jr. is a retired educator with 30 plus years of professional experiences in the field of education in the City of New Orleans, Louisiana.

He graduated from Xavier University Preparatory High School in 1960, received a B.S. Degree in education from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1964 and a Master's Degree in School Administration from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1973. He did additional graduate studies at Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana.

He presently serves as a member of two charter school boards in New Orleans. InspireNOLA Charter School Network and New Orleans College Prep Charter Schools. He is Treasurer of the InspireNOLA Board and with both CMO's he serves on two committees: Academic and Finance.

He firmly believes and knows that education is the key to success in life and is a strong advocate for quality education for the youth of this city. As a member of a school board, he is afforded opportunities to collaborate with and provide effective governance and oversight to school network organizations and endeavoring to deliver quality education to the students served.
